The trivia night will be held at Warwick Stadium on 13th October 2018. The event has been inspired by my 14 year old son Blake, who last September was diagnosed with a benign brain tumour. Blake spent 3 months in hospital recovering after surgery to remove his brain tumour as unfortunately the operation caused many issues. Blake now needs a wheelchair for mobility and spends 3 days a week doing intensive rehab to learn the many skills he lost after surgery. He can only attend school a few hours a week.
Despite all this, I still consider Blake one of the lucky ones as he did not need chemotherapy or radiation, the surgeons removed all of his tumour and the chance of it growing back is minimal. I want to raise money to help find cures for those children who are not so lucky as Blake.
Personalised jewellery by Belle Fever would mean we would have a lovely and original prize to offer at the trivia night. One lucky attendee could choose a gift that is meaningful and special to them. As many people attending the trivia night will be from the local school communities there will be a lot of parents who would love a gift that reflects the love and happiness their children bring them.
