I have been productively working and accomplishing a great deal on my to-do list. There's nothing like crossing off a task and feeling accomplished :)
Meanwhile, I've been trying to plan what to make for my other half who'll be celebrating his birthday at home this weekend while in lockdown. You may not already know, but I love selecting gifts with a more sentimental meaning behind them and capturing a moment that can only be shared between the giver and recipient.
I thought about the day we picked out our very first pair of rings, I was drawn to the story of the Claddagh rings (yes, I am a Buffy fan), so I shared with him the story and how it should be worn.
Sadly, while at Jamberoo water park, he lost his ring while trying to jump off "The Rock.". Because we didn't really replace them, I thought it would be nice if I created a pair of BF Personalised Rings for him and me for his birthday.
It's hard to see, but inside I have written: "MO ANAM CARA" which means "My Soulmate".
I'm hoping that he loves them as much as I do. Have you ever heard of the Claddagh story? :)
