Hi we are The Waves Cities Hockey Club. We are a field hockey club located in Bundaberg, Queensland. We are a bit for profit club who doesn’t receive any kickbacks from Registration Fees or Memberships. We rely solely on donations and sponsorship. We are a family oriented club who were established in 1935 and we pride ourselves on our presentation and sportsmanship, which we instill in our Junior Players to follow through to their Senior Years. Attached are photos of some of our Junior Teams. Photos like the ones attached, are presented to each player at the end of season to remind them of their team spirit and to remind them of their amazing and fun memories from hockey with Waves Cities.
We are preparing for a Mother’s Day Raffle and are hoping for donations to go towards prizes. We are hoping to raise some much needed funds to help some of our junior families with equipment costs and if enough funds are raised, to assist Cities families whose children have been selected for Bundaberg Representative Hockey towards travel costs and other expenses.
